First off, I’ll apologize for taking so long to post to the Loaf-Off 2006 website. I was unaware that, after winning a competition as prestigious as Loaf-Off, there would be so many responsibilities- the parades, the meet-and-greets, the grip-and-grins, the speaking engagements, the private cooking lessons I’m supposed to offer…

They’re all taking up more time than I expected, but such is the life of a Loaf-Off winner.

Bitter, agonizing defeat.

That sums up my experience with Loaf-Off 2006. Sometimes you just gotta suck it up and admit that no matter how much money you left tucked under the judges’ napkins they will still turn on you the fun is in the competition and not the winning. Here’s my take on yesterday’s events.

Behind Enemy Lines
